I’m a professional software engineer, radio ham, monkey fan, hacker and quantum mechanic. This site covers my interests across the spectrum from electronic tinkering and software, all the way up to interstellar craft.

I’m on the Project Icarus team, helping to design a fusion-powered starship as a modern followup to the Daedalus project of the 1970s.

I love apes and monkeys, support Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre, and I run the Friends of Monkey World website and forum.
